What a Goal!

Fantastic, fantastic, he IS simply fantastic.

De Rossi scored yet another classic goal for Italy against Georgia and it was a double he scored just to put a cherry on top.

Here’s what ‘Goal.com’ had to say about the performance

‘De Rossi – 8.5: Man-of-the-match! Scored both of Italy’s goals, the first an absolute screamer from 30 yards, the second a clinical finish inside the area.’

The Man of the match (really who would of thought?) a 8.5 is pretty good, but still only 8.5! It’s DDR hammering in a shot, my favourite type of DDR goals, It should be a 10.

And being compared with Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard really but they aren’t better than De Rossi. But because Mr. Goals-a lot is so nice he had this to say

“I am very happy with Lippi’s words of praise, because being compared to a legend like Gerrard is truly a great compliment.”

A legend like Gerrard, I’d rather not go on whats wrong with that… that’s for another day.

Another nice thing he did was his dedication of the two goals to his father-in-law, who died a not too long ago.

Cant wait to enjoy more of ‘Super De Rossi’ this season for Roma.
